I bought 3 or 4 cameras of this type for use at work. I bought 2 cameras of different type of helmet that has worked well, but it beats out of the park. The case is built like a tank, it is very easy to use. The voice activated feature is great. I am using an 8GB chip in mine, so I can not talk about quality problems that I heard when you use the 2gig chip that ships. I used the last two days of testing using the mounting clip clips in my rearview mirror, facing forward and I can say that there is no camera on the dashboard of police who can beat the video. The camera focuses perfectly through the windshield and the viewing angle is wide enough to capture a perfect scene. Low light is great for use in a firing range yesterday and once I realized the correct position videos were great, even in low light. If you need a small camera of high quality, this is it. My only complaint was when I installed the driver disk, I started getting errors com and had to do a lot of googling before I could turn them off. I connected the device to another computer without installing the drivers and everything worked well. I guess you need the driver if you intend to use it as a webcam, but thats a waste of a great piece of equipment. The audio is a weak point and wind noise will dry audio. If you intend to use it as a cruiser cam does not know how you would get external audio, but will resume the video well. I highly recommend it.
