Ordered the camera, the 7 / 4 and was to arrive by 7 / 17. It has not arrived and the tracking information provided indicates that was not taken by the shipper (amazon. com). I sent an e-mail to know if my order was and the answer was told to wait until 7 / 28. I waited and the camera never arrived. I sent another e-mail and I was told that the camera was temporarily out of stock. I canceled the order, got a refund, and ordered from another dealer through Amazon. com. The camera arrived in less than a week.

Camera looks nice, but can not be used without the software of Fuji, which is mainly designed for you to order prints from Fuji. Fuji software is only compatible with Windows and Mac OS – not compatible with Linux. You can not access the camera from Linux. The camera does not appear as a directory tree of the USB device. You can only get the crapware Fuji. If you’re a Linux user, do not buy this camera. Fuji main goal is to get to buy the prints, so even though you have a Mac or Windows, whether adware is really how you want to access your purchase.

I know very little about cameras, so I admit that all my complaints may be due to my ignoranza.Ho wanted this camera for a specific purpose. I have a lot of microfilm and microfiche, which I hope to be able to scan selectively (without paying for a costly microfilm-to-machine digital). I had read on the web that cameras with the Super Macro mode could be used for this purpose. I have an old Olympus camera from 5 years ago, with the Super Macro mode, but not closer to 3. 5 inches. This is satisfactory for some images microfilm (as front pages of magazines), but the magnification is not strong enough to read the text of newspapers on microfilm, or microfiche. The Fujifilm FinePix S1500 specifications stated that its Super Macro mode can be closer. 8in (which is more than four times closer than my old car, plus it’s more than twice the resolution). So I hoped that the camera Fujifilm greatly enable my ability to digitize my microfilm, perhaps by a factor of 9. But, alas, these hopes were deluse.Alla my great disappointment, the images of this camera Fujifilm distance more. 8in no close-ups like my old car to 3. 5in. (Of course, the Fujifilm camera uses a much wider angle.) To make matters worse, the camera closer to Fujifilm Super Macro is bad protruding from the center of the image, causing distortions in any photographic images from the microfilm I’m trying to digitize. I uploaded a picture showing the extent of such projection graph, which was totally absent in my camera old Super Macro mode. Images taken with the Fujifilm camera has sharper resolution, zoom to the saved image can read a little text microfilm ‘clearer. But is not that much clearer, and nowhere nearly enough for my needs. Small print on film is still illeggibile. So’m rating the camera at 3 because I was so disappointed with it. I suppose it is still a good, solid camera for general use, and if you do not want for the special purpose of scanning microfilm, may be very satisfied with Fujifilm FinePix S1500.

My husband bought this camera for me as a birthday present. When I received the camera I inserted the batteries and memory card and turned on. When the settings came up was a bit ‘fuzzy, but I thought it was only because I was under the light; WRONG. When I arrived to a picture mode the entire screen had a horrible purple color to everything. The image was so blurred I could not tell if I was watching my husband or my cat. I tried to look through the EVF to see if it made a difference and it was the same story. After some shots were taken, which all went purple with huge black lines through it, I tried different settings. I tried everything, even took it outside to see a different light. Nothing has changed. Fujifilm and I called technical support told me it was a bad sensor and rimandarla.Ho tried to be confident that the good reviews and bad reviews go beyond the problems of others were found only one in a million. I was wrong. Camera is on the way back to Amazon.

I bought the Fuji S1500 digital from Amazon and received 7/14/09. The following statement is not my opinion, but what I experienced with the digital camera Fuji S1500.Le photographs are more exposed washed out appearance. I read the manual and could not solve the washed exposure photographs of the fotocamera.Quando do movies with this camera, the audio is horrible. It seems this camera is the volume level for recording sound too high. People talk at normal sound recored this camera has a lot of volume than static, as the logging level is set at 10, causing a lot of distortion, while it should be at a level in the past has been a 1.Fuji company that offered what was promised, with their product. Today advertising Fuji promises a great product, until you buy the product to find is junk.
